A Great Adult Program at the Science Center Tonight

Check out this great adult program at the Carnegie Science Center tonight.  The doors will open at 6pm, and the event runs from 7pm-9pm.  The event is free and you can learn some great history from curator emeritus of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

The Changing Arctic Wilderness

Join Mary Dawson, curator emeritus of Vertebrate Paleontology at Carnegie Museum of Natural History, to explore one of the most fragile and ecologically sensitive ecosystems in the world!

The Arctic's harsh climate and short growing seasons provide little time for species to recover, making it extremely vulnerable to long-lasting disturbance.

Discover why the Arctic is ground zero for climate change impacts and find out what this means for the array of specialized mammals who call the Arctic home.

Plus, learn what Arctic life was like more than 50 million years ago!

Eat, drink, and learn with friends in a fun, relaxed setting! Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
