At the end of this month, plan to make your way to Walnut Street in Shadyside. The annual Art Festival will close down Walnut Street, so you can enjoy unique handmade arts and crafts from around the Pittsburgh area. The 19th Annual Shadyside…The Art Festival on Walnut Street, which started out as a neighborhood street fair, is now regarded as one of the top shows in Pittsburgh. Shadyside features boutiques, shops and galleries mingled with national retailers in a neighborhood of tree-lined streets, historic homes, hip events, and distinctive restaurants.

The festival ends at 5pm on Sunday.
