Wedding Season Is Here

Wedding Season is here. This means that the invitations are coming to your mailbox so fast that your summer will be booked in no time. Planning, scheduling vacation and finding flights are just a few of the many steps in going to a wedding. We all want to avoid the dreaded wedding “Faux Pas”. Here is our 2016 guide to wedding etiquette.

RSVP

Make sure to RSVP as soon as possible. Even if the invitation says the due date is three months from now, the earlier the better. RSVP's let the wedding planner and couple know how many guests they can expect for food and drinks.

Read the Invitation

Do not go rogue when it comes to instructions and gifts. The invitation was made to answer all of your questions. If there is a registry, make sure to buy off the registry. If there are other specific instructions such as donations or payments for honeymoons, make sure to take those into consideration too. The bride and groom know what they need, and this prevents you from buying them the 8th toaster of the event.

Don’t Show Up Late

Make sure to plan ahead. You live in a great location at The Encore on 7th. so whether you are traveling locally or to the airport you have multiple resources to get to your location on time. Make sure to plan ahead and leave early. You never know how traffic will be during the summer travel months.

These are just a few suggestions we have to make sure you get through wedding season without a glitch. If you are the one getting married, Congratulations! If you are a guest this season, make sure to have fun and enjoy the moment. You can find more information about wedding season at Apartment Therapy.
